About

Thirty businesses, one square

Plaza Blanca is an independent shopping collective in the heart of Sotogrande Costa: a set of white buildings arranged around courtyards, terraces and named streets, with trees growing up through the paving.

It had been abandoned for thirty years. Since 2023 it has been brought back by Carla and Andrew Brooks, an independent family business — painting, repairing, and letting the units one at a time to people who wanted to be here.

The square

Whitewash, turquoise joinery, terracotta underfoot and a sage-green dado running the length of every terrace. Olive trees in blue glazed cubes. Streets with names: Calle del Río, Calle Larga, Corredera de San Andrés.
